Seabourn set to sail Asia all year

The Yachts of Seabourn will have its first year-round presence in Asia in 2010/11, with two new luxury vessels and new ports of call.
The luxury cruise line has announced that Seabourn Pride and Seabourn Spirit will offer new itineraries from Decemeber 2009 to April 2011, featuring calls to Dalian (China), Busan and Incheon (Korea), Nagasaki and Kagoshima (Japan), as well as Borneo and Indonesian islands such as Komodo.
Jenny Lourey, senior vice president of Carnival Australia, which represents Seabourn, said people would be able to visit remote destinations in style.
"We think Australians will love Seabourn's Asian cruises because they combine the comforts of ultra-luxury cruising with the excitement of visiting exotic new ports, from the rainforests and clear waters of Kota Kinabalu in Malaysia to South Korea's Mokpo," Ms Lourey said.
The new Asian sailings follow the expansion of the company's fleet with next week's launch of Seabourn Odyssey. A 14-night 'Asian Capitals and Vietnam' cruise, departing Singapore on 05 December 2009 and calling at Bangkok, Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang, Hanoi and Hong Kong is priced from US$4999 per person twin share.
A 12-night voyage from China to Japan via Korea, departing 15 September 2010, starts at US$7890 per person twin share. New destination tours are also on offer, including land safaris and trips to Bhutan.

Fun facts about Royal Caribbean International's 2435-passenger liner.
