How about an "ultra-inclusive" cruise?
By: Louise Goldsbury and Bruce Piper, Cruise Weekly

Regent Seven Seas Cruises has upped the ante on the notion of "all-inclusive," offering free shore excursions on all of its 2010 departures.

The luxury operator this week announced the programs for next year on its three all-suite vessels: the 700 guest Seven Seas Voyager and Seven Seas Mariner, as well as the 490- guest Seven Seas Navigator.

Fares on Regent already include fine wines, soft drinks, premium spirits, government fees and taxes and even onboard gratuities. And now shore excursions are included, meaning there should be absolutely no need to put your hand in your pocket once on board, with a spokesperson saying that Regent now offers "the most inclusive cruise product ever offered by a luxury line."

Other enhancements to Regent Seven Seas for 2010 include expanded butler service, which will now be offered to guests accommodated in suite category C and above (currently B and above). This change will add 85 Butler suites for a total of 290 across the fleet.

Itineraries for 2010 will range from 7 night cruises in destinations such as Alaska, Europe and the Caribbean, right through to four Grand Voyages including a 119 roundthe world trip on board Seven Seas Voyager departing San Diego on 14 Jan.

And as a special treat, guests on the world cruise will enjoy an exclusive pre-departure performance by music legends The Beach Boys as well as US TV comic Jay Leno.

And you don't even have to go abroad to experience the line, with calls by Seven Seas Naviagator and Voyager in Australia during November this year and March 2010.
