Daniel Fitzpatrick

For Daniel, travelling and writing have been circling each other for several years but only recently got together. Conscious that life happens when you're busy making other plans, Daniel makes sure travelling is a constant; whether it be roaming up and down the east coast of Australia or heading to an overseas destination.

Having the little Aussie dollar regularly smacked by stronger currencies has required Daniel to get a little creative in his travels plans over the years and has led him through many adventures and mischief that include being smuggled across the Bulgarian and Romanian border and selling mobile phones in Montreal.

Daniel's grown to be a much wiser traveller and has learned that sometimes it pays to plan your trips a little more in advance. Unfortunately, having a natural curiosity means Daniel occasionally falls back on old tricks where even set itineraries are changed mid-trip on a whim.

When not travelling, Daniel resides in Sydney where he works in corporate communications.
