Sydney Heli Tours is located at the heliport within Sydney Airport in Mascot, and it's here that you can jump on board a helicopter for a thrill ride like no other.
The Coastal Rush tour began last August in a bid to change the way people experience an 'aerial tour' of Sydney's coastline.
Strapped into a Robinson 44 chopper, the Coastal Rush flight offers you a way to experience pure adrenalin as the helicopter performs aerial manoeuvres along Sydney's magnificent coastline.
You'll catch the stunning views from Botany Bay to Bear Island, to the Sydney's beaches of Maroubra, Coogee, Clovelly, Bronte and Bondi. To intensify this experience, the helicopter doors are removed, giving you the thrill of exposure and creating the feeling that you are so close to the water that you could touch it!
Your pilot will perform manoeuvres during this 20 - 25 minute thrill-seeking flight along the edge of Sydney's coastline in a specially designed helicopter. Expect to have white knuckles by the end of it! Who said a scenic helicopter flight wasn't exciting?
Part of the strict safety regulations means that all flights require passengers to wear seat belts during the entire flight, as well as life jackets when flying over water. Headsets are sometimes supplied and worn in helicopters to protect hearing, and to enable passengers to listen to the pilot's commentary during the flight. The headsets provide two-way conversations with pilot, so you can ask questions about what you are seeing.
