The Tamworth Country Music Festival is without doubt one of Australia's greatest events. No longer stamped with a hillbilly image the music itself has slipped into the mainstream in a big way!

The final programme offers around 2500 events staged in over 100 different venues - clubs, pubs, church halls, shopping centres and even on the streets of Tamworth.

The entertainment itself ranges from buskers in the CBD to taking a seat in the 5,000 capacity Tamworth Regional Entertainment Centre. This is where the final Awards ceremony takes place - the Toyota Country Music Awards Concert. It only happens once a year - so start planning now!
