Storeybrook Cottage is a cosy and intimate Bed and Breakfast set in over a hectare of beautiful gardens. There are two guestrooms located on the ground floor, each with an ensuite, air conditioning and a television. Upstairs is the Honeymoon Suite. With its twin spa, spacious sitting room and cosy log fire ,. it's the ideal location for a romantic weekend away.
The comfortable accommodation is just one feature this delightful cottage offers. Take a stroll down the garden path to see the lovely range of flowers and cottage plants on display. From Friday to Monday visitors are welcome to take a look around, and owner John gives groups a tour of the herb garden. If you arrive on your own chances are you can look around for free.
On the veranda overlooking the blossoming gardens is the cottages tearoom. Its the perfect spot to unwind with Devonshire Tea, or try a delicious home-cooked meals like Cottage Pie and Country Quiche.
After exploring the estate, check out the charming town of Woodford. Th best way to get to Woodford is via olden-day locomotive. Every Sunday from 10am-4pm an old train runs between Storeybrook Cottage and Woodford Rail station on the disused Caboolture-Kilcoy branch line. The journey takes around 5 minutes and gives passengers the chance to experience historic train transport with whistles, steam and all.
If youre in town, you cant go past the local fruit and veg store. This one - aptly named Grapelands - has quite an unusual selling campaign. Owner Elvis Parsley serenades customers with his versions of Elvis Presley songs - Viva Las Vegetables and A Little Less Fruit and Vegies are his favourites.

The Honeymoon Suite at Storeybrook Cottage costs from $120 per night. A romantic package is also available for $330 and includes 2 night accommodation, champagne, chocolate and strawberries, two hot breakfasts served on the veranda and two dinners served in your room. A tour of the herb gardens costs $2.50.
