Harley's Croc Adventures, QUEENSLAND

They say you should never smile at a crocodile... and looking at these big guys I can see why!!

But at Hartley's Crocodile Adventures, you can smile at a crocodile - in fact they'll smile with you at the digital photo session! Queensland's crocodile wildlife park has 27 acres of natural crocodile friendly environment especially created to keep these big guys happy. Head out on a boat tour through the (man-made) lagoon to see huge crocs up close, and watch them hungrily jumping to get their morning food.

Back on land, see the Crocodile Attack Show, witness the notorious death roll and head shake, then smile with a 1m crocodile afterwards - and capture the happy moment with a digital photo! But there's more than crocs here: feed turtles, cuddle a python, watch koalas being fed. Plus - on the far side - there's a crocodile farm with over 1000 crocs being bred. Those smiling crocs don't know how lucky they are!

Hartley's Crocodile Adventures is located within the Wet Tropics World Heritage Area between Palm Cove and Port Douglas in Tropical North Queensland. Hartley's aim is to provide guests with a natural environment in which to experience and learn about relationship between the animals and their environment, and as such the surrounds are extremely natural .
