Ashmore Palms Holiday Village is 15 minutes from the Gold Coast's main strip. You're close to all the action and just far enough away to leave the hustle and bustle of the city behind.
The village has ten different styles of accommodation and all suit the various budgets of holiday goers. At the budget end is the Melanesian Cabins.
This very basic style has cooking facilities and comfortably sleeps up to 5. The Holiday Villas are compact yet comfortable cabins and are popular with guests seeking quality, budget accommodation.
This style has two bedrooms comfortably sleeping 2 adults and 2 kids. The Hibiscus Chalets are popular with small families and couples and will sleep up to 5. The Family Villa has 3 bedrooms and can sleep up to 6 guests.
Mid range priced cabins are the Palm Cottages. This style sleeps up to 5 with a separate master bedroom and second bedroom with single bed and 2 bunks. The Deluxe Family Villas have 3 bedrooms and are a more up-market version of the Family Villas.
Sleeping up to 6, the cabin has a separate master bedroom and two bedrooms with 2 bunks in each. The Cactus Cabanas have a rendered exterior and are complete with a cute cactus theme which sleeps up to 5.
The Lorikeet Lodges are popular with families seeking holiday cabins that provide ease of access. This style features a small front balcony and has two bedrooms sleeping up to 5.
There are 7 two-storey Macaw Mansions in the village which were opened in November 1999. They're decorated with a Mediterranean theme and are popular with families wanting to be close to Ashmore Palms' lagoon area. This style has two bedrooms sleeping up to 6.
The Rainforest Retreats are Ashmore Palms' newest and most luxurious cabin style. These retreats are situated in a quiet location along the Village's manmade rainforest walkway.
This style sleeps up to 6 and is popular with families who want to entertain right outside their door. There is an outdoor eating area with BBQ facilities. The village also has a stack of stuff to keep the kids and Mum & Dad occupied. All the activities are free and during school holidays there is never a dull moment.
Holiday activities include face painting, kids craft, games, story telling and balloon modeling. All guests are invited to participate however the activities are not supervised and it is recommended that parents come along. But the real highlight is the resort's collection of rare South American Macaw parrots! Have your photo taken with these most amazing and colourful birds!
