The Polish Place is located on Mt Tambourine in the Gold Coast Hinterland, forty minutes drive from the Gold Coast and one hour from Brisbane. Uniquely located on the western escarpment, The Polish Place boasts 180 degree views to the west, with stunning sunsets all year round.

The famous Gallery Walk, along with many individual galleries, cafes, restaurants, craft and antique shops and nurseries are spread throughout the Mountain, and are a browser's paradise only a few minutes drive from The Polish Place. There are nine easily accessible National Parks, including the nearby Witches Falls and Joalah Park with its semi-rainforest trails. Activities such as golf, horse riding, hang gliding (100m from The Polish Place), bowls, bushwalking, bird watching and creek swimming are popular activities. Cool, clean mountain air, rainforest walks and waterfalls, combined with its colourful bird life make this area popular with nature lovers.

Excursions can be made to the five local wineries, boutique distillery and coffee plantation in the near vicinity. Fresh mountain-grown produce is easily purchased from roadside stalls. After a busy day there's nothing better than an aromatherapy massage in your cottage! The charming, fully self-contained timber cottages with sweeping cathedral ceilings have panoramic views of the Great Dividing Range to the West, and are complete with kitchen, laundry, dining/lounge room with spa, bedroom and bathroom. All cottages have air-conditioning, dishwasher, washing maching /dryer, hand painted crockery from Poland, glassware and cutlery and linen are provided as is TV, CD and video.

Guests can enjoy the mouth-watering, traditional meals, which have been introduced by Ania from her homeland. Traditional Polish delicacies such as pierogi, bigos (sauerkraut cooked with different meats and herbs), the very popular pork hocks, cabbage rolls, smoked eel, herring, and salads are specialties of the House - not to forget Ania's famous rum chocolate torte! The Polish Bar features specialties such as many varieties of Polish vodkas, Polish beers Zywiec (Gold Medal winner, World Beer Championships (1997) and Okocim, and a large number of European and Australian beers. The wine list also contains selected wines from local wineries and wines from around Australia and New Zealand. Why not enjoy a vodka or two as the sun goes down? The restaurant is open for morning teas, lunches and afternoon teas everyday from 10am to sunset, with lunches served from 12-3pm.
