Villa Alba, QUEENSLAND

At this secluded peaceful escape guests can indulge in and be educated about food.

Villa Alba offers Adventure Cooking Weekends where you learn how to cook five star restaurant quality food.

Your first lesson starts with selecting the right ingredients, so it's a 10-minute drive to the Eumundi markets to pick up fresh local produce that you will use to create a tantalising feast.

Lesson two is a three-hour hands-on cooking class where you turn all that beautiful produce in to a wonderful meal. The menu might include Zucchini Flowers stuffed with Salmon Mousse, Roasted Spatchcock and for Pannacotta with Berries.

If you'd rather relax and let someone else do the cooking, book a seat at one of Villa Alba's banquets.

Nine course banquets cost from $66 per person and are held on Saturday nights or on request. While the menu varies with what's available and fresh on the day, you can be assured it will be an exquisite masterpiece that won't leave you hungry.
