Couran Cove Island Resort is located on South Stradbroke Island, between Brisbane and the Gold Coast. The island is a 20-minute ferry trip from Runaway Bay.

Nearly half of all the activities available at Couran Cove are free. For guests into land sports there are 35 activities, including beach volleyball, rock climbing, sprint track racing, basketball, trampolining, high jumping and golf driving.
For the water babies, there are 12 water sports to choose from, including banana boat rides, parasailing, windsurfing, jet skies, speedboats, catamarans and waterskiing. Or, for a completely relaxing experience, guests can laze about on the 22km-long beach or head to the day spa for a pamper treatment.
There are also 15 environmental activities, from Foods of the Forest walks to sunset kayaking. There are also a heap of activities designed specifically for the rug rats and the extravagant Night of the Rainbow Serpent show is sure to entertain.
It's an audio-visual display of Australian reptiles. Everything is about choices at Couran Cove, especially the accommodation. There's the 'Marine Resort' and the 'Nature Resort'.
Both accommodate all group sizes and budgets. The Marine accommodation offers waterfront suites and is located by the aquamarine lagoon. The Nature cabins are nestled deep amongst the forest and provide an exclusive retreat close to the beach.
