Long Island Resort is a three and a half star island resort located in the Whitsunday Island Chain. Long Island has over 20kms of scenic walking tracks through rainforest, 2500 acres of national park and palm fringed beaches, and Long Island can be circumnavigated by foot. This will involve walking, hiking, and climbing, and will take about 9 hours. During the late afternoon, wallabies can often be seen hopping along the beach, and the howling bird and flightless curlew may also appear. The package is available until March 2008.
