Why not take a walk on the wild side in South Australia and get close to the animals both in and around Adelaide.

From walking amongst the wild and native animals at Cleland Wildlife Park, to touring the open plains at Monarto Zoo, there's an abundance of wildlife experiences to be had near the city of churches!

Just twenty minutes from the Adelaide city centre, Cleland Wildlife Park turned 40 years old in 2007 and boasts 35 ha of open bushland habitat where visitors can explore some of South Australia's diverse landscapes and meet some of their inhabitants.

Visitors can feed and wander at their leisure among kangaroos, wallabies, Emus and waterfowl. Displays of Dingoes, reptiles, Tasmanian Devils and Koalas allow easy viewing access, or stroll through the aviaries and marvel at the diversity of South Australian wildlife. Visitors can also join Cleland staff daily for friendly and informative sessions as they feed some of the resident wildlife. Visitors will gain a fascinating insight into Australia's wildlife by participating in one of these sessions.
