Warbird Adventure Flights offers you the unique opportunity to experience the adrenalin and excitement of full on dog fighting and simulated combat with two of their high performance fully aerobatic CJ 6's.
Warbird Adventure Flights have been operating very successfully since early 2001. Owner and chief pilot Nigel Dunn, has over twenty years of flying experience, and is a Commercial pilot with full aerobatic and formation licenses. All Warbird Adventure Flight pilots, are senior commercial pilots with age and experience behind them. All of our pilots offer the utmost safety and concern for people flying with them and always ensure a safe and enjoyable flight experience.
The day begins with a 15 minute pre-flight briefing, to discuss all aspects of you CJ6A aircraft, safety procedures, mission brief details and aerobatics to be conducted. It's then time to suit up and strap in for the ride of a lifetime. Departures are from Goolwa airport and track over the Coorong National Park and Lake Alexandrina, with a view of the Murray Mouth and pristine coastline. After you have taken in the sites, the full-on action commences.
Aerobatics include aileron rolls, barrel rolls, Immellman's, loops, avalanches, hammerheads and spins (the manoeuvres are explained prior to the flight). Everyone that takes part in this experience receives a certificate of their flight and the opportunity to purchase an on-board video of the flight which is professionally produced and shows all the action both inside and outside of the cockpit. Pre-requisites for the experience are all round good physical health and an age of 14 years or older.
