Two kilometres from Hilltop is the small town of Stirling. Local resident Judith Quigley hosts an intimate dining experience in her own home, serving her guests a delicious homemade two or three course lunch.
The menu does vary, but dishes like a baby rack of lamb with red currant glaze are the typical fare. No more than nine guests are accepted for lunch, to preserve the initimate atmosphere.
Judith has been cooking her gourmet meals for three and a half years. After lunch, guests are invited to take a stroll through her two hectare heritage garden.
While you're in the area, be sure to visit Stangate House and Garden Aldgate. Their beautiful showcase of flowers includes daffodils, camellias, bluebells and several types of trees.
Stangate House is a National Trust Property. The $4 entry fee and the proceeds from the sale of Devonshire tea all contribute to the maintenance of the gorgeous garden outside.
