Laura canters her way through Mornington Peninsulas vineyards. Want to wander the wineries on horseback? Under the guidance of Terry Scott, you can choose between the short 3 hour tour or the all day tour where you will be taken through tracks, bush trails and the wineries themselves.
The Peninsula has more than 50 wineries. This tour covers a selection including; 10 Minutes by Tractor, which is three wineries in one. It was given its name because it's only 10 Minutes by tractor between them! There you can taste some of the best slow ripening, cool climate wines such as the Pinot and Chardonnay.
The Red Hill Estate is a winery and restaurant. Offering varieties of Pinot and Chardonnay, the 50 acre Red Hill Estate has won some of the top accolades from both the Australian and Victorian Tourism Boards across the past decade. There, you can indulge in finely cooked seafood or free range poultry and compliment the meal with a Red Hill award-winning Chardonnay.
Red Hill also has a brewery with an 800 litre brew house and three conical fermenters. Red Hill Brewery grows their own organic hops using whole hop flowers and dried fruit. Try their flagship ale - Golden Ale. Red Hill also houses Wheat Beer and Scotch Ale both of which have a unique full bodied taste thanks to Red Hill Brewery's fertile soil.
You can also stay right where you return the horses. At Spring Creek Farm - The rooms have views over horse paddocks, the valley and lake and the estate itself offers an array of activities and attractions.
