After five years of competing in
The Great Australian Vanilla Slice Triumph,
Tatura Hot Bread won the coveted
title and were voted
Australia's number 1 Vanilla Slice in 2006.
Located approximately 17 kilometres south-west of
Shepparton in
Victoria, Tatura is a town of about 2800
people. Attractions include the
Cussen Park wetlands and the
Wartime Camps and
Irrigation Museum - as well as of course the
Tatura Hot Bread bakery with
Australia's best Vanilla Slice.
Not only does Tatura have a plethora of history, but it also holds many of Greater Shepparton's major events, from the well
renowned food and wine festival
"The Taste of Tatura" in March, to
International Dairy Week in January, the
Tatura Cup in April and
Italian Plate Day in December.
Located just a ten minute drive from Tatura is the
