Three times the size of England, The Kimberley has some of the most dramatic and stunning countryside in Australia. Because this very rugged country is pretty hard to get around, Pearl Sea Coastal Cruises has launched the 'Kimberley Quest', an air-conditioned custom built vessel designed to cruise through the remote Kimberley region.
Twenty five metres in length with modern facilities, the Quest provides deluxe and superior accommodation, all with ensuite bathrooms. The trips range from four to 14 days and incorporate scenic flights as well as wilderness expeditions.
The 14 day cruise travels from Broome all the way to Wyndham, taking you through the scenic inland waterways and islands. There is so much to take in, from the St George Basin to the Prince Regent River and the majestic King Cascades. The waters are home to crocodiles, sharks, giant turtles and dolphins.
There are also stops for scenic expeditions by foot. It's worth the trek, and you may even stumble on the perfect water oasis. Don't worry, those ones are croc free!
From the stunning views at water level, you can take to the skies on a scenic chopper tour that flies you over the wilderness of the Nature Reserves. There is a drop off at the peak of Mt Trafalgar, where you can sit with a glass of champagne and watch the day break. This trip is luxury all the way!
The fun doesn't end there. If you fancy a bit of fishing, throw a line off the back of the boat and try your chances of catching a Kimberley Barramundi.
