Every Gulf Air Sky Nanny is specially trained for inflight childcare services by Norland College. Onboard, the Gulf Air Sky Nanny makes flying easier for parents travelling with children.

The Sky Nanny's role is to: Meet and escort each family onto the aircraft to a dedicated seating area

Suggests separate dining times for children to leave parent free to enjoy their own meals.

Sets up the bassinet for younger children.

Hands out special Gulf Air Welcome Packs that include various activities

Keep children occupied throughout the journey including loaning games

Keep a watchful eye on children should their parents doze off or just get engrossed in a book or movie.

Before landing she'll advise children exactly what's happening and what to do - little things like how to clear their ears and arrival procedures.
