Warwick Castle is one of Britain's most complete and impressive medieval castles. It was built during the reign of William the Conqueror and was home to the powerful Earls of Warwick.

For nearly 600 years the Mill and Engine House used the power of the River Avon to grind grain. A century ago that same 'hydro' power was harnessed by the Castle's engine house to generate electricity for the household.

Now the Mill and Engine House have been carefully restored so you can see how electricity arrived at the Castle in 1900 and how the Castle shot to the forefront of Victorian technology.

Featuring a fantastic collection of eagles, vultures, buzzards and hawks visitors witness a display of the ancient and noble art of falconry as these amazing birds swoop and dive over the castle turrets. Shows run twice daily, every day. The mighty trebuchet - a gargantuan 18m tall catapult weighing 22 tonnes, will be shot twice daily also. And, like yoru history a it darker? The ghouls are back on a mission to terrify and tantalise as 'Warwick, Ghosts Alive' returns. The legendary ghost tower is once more transformed into a chilling live-action spook experience.
