Vomo Island comprises 225 acres; 80 of which are manicured grounds, smooth enough for golf at one end while rising to a high plateau with plunging cliffs at the other. Coral reefs begin just offshore - spectacular and pristine, and teeming with ocean life.
The island rises from the ocean to an elevation of 135 metres, offering breathtaking 360 degrees views of the surrounding islands and ocean from the peak of Mount Vomo. Vomo enjoys a rich place in Fijian history, as it was the traditional retreat for the high chiefs of Western Fiji. Today, Vomo is the location of Vomo Island Resort, and still a great place to relax.
