Mention the city of Waterford to anyone and chances are they'll think of Crystal, and it's no wonder, considering glass, or crystal has been manufactured in the city since 1783

& Waterford is home to the famous Waterford Crystal Factory.

Over 90% of the crystal products displayed in the Visitor Centre are manufactured in Waterford and whilst viewing the master craftsman at work, you will see the processes involved from molten glass through to finished masterpieces.

Founded in 853AD by the Vikings, it also happens to be Ireland's oldest city and a visit is not complete without exploring it's medieval history, within the city's walls, narrow alleyways and architectural gems.
