Rome, ITALY

Every morning, except Sundays, this place becomes a lively flower, fruit and vegetable market. Whatever you choose to buy will sound expensive, but remember 100,000 lira is only actually $100.Located about ten minutes' walk from the markets is Piazza Navona, which is like a museum, only free! The same could be said for the Spanish steps and the Via Condotti, only 20 minutes' walk away, an absolute shopper's paradise. You can see most of the amazing sites that Rome has to offer just by walking - there is no need for tour buses. If all the walking makes you hungry, stop at the Ristorante Hostaria Giullio where the food is fresh and delicious. For your final stop, make sure you finish the day at the Trevi Fountain. The local legend here says that if you throw in a coin, you'll be sure to return to Rome.
