Alice Cooper was born Vincent Damon Furnier in Detroit, Michigan. He moved to Phoenix Arizona when young and he still lives there today.
At 17 he joined a rock band called Alice Cooper who were later signed by Warner Bros. The band released their first major album, 'Love It To Death' in 1971.
In 1975 the band broke up and Vincent legally changed his name to Alice Cooper.
Located in the middle of a desert, Phoenix is the fifth biggest city in America and one of the sunniest with 325 sunny days a year.
This city is renowned for its trendy resorts, some of which can cost up to $2000 a night!. But, if you can stand the heat, when the summer temperatures start to rise the prices for these places start to come down.
