Universal Studios can be found right amongst the glitz and glamour of Los Angeles, California.
The classic behind-the-scenes Backlot Studio Tour brings guests right up close to the world of movie making magic.
On the 40 minute tour you'll find yourself amid facades of hundreds of buildings, towns and neighbourhoods where countless films and television productions have been, and continue to be made.
Jurassic Park, Jaws, The Mummy, Desperate Housewives, Big Fat Liar, Psycho ... the list goes on, and you can see where many of these amazing films and TV shows were shot.
You'll be taken around the backlot on trams. Each tram is outfitted with four LCD flat screen monitors, a state-of the art audio system and a DVD playback recorder equipped to store and play numerous film clips. This allows the tour to instantly put a frame of reference to every set and sound stage located on the backlot.
Once you've finished the backlot tour, the fun at Universal Studios does not stop. There are countless shows and rides to fill several days. There are rides based Jurassic Park, Backdraft and more.
Then there's the shows, such as the animal actors stage, where some of those amazing animals we see in movies strut their stuff and entertain huge crowds.
And keep a lookout for the stars scattered all over the park. You may just bump into Shrek and Donkey or the Blues Brothers!
