Say the name Ronn Moss and you will probably think of his role as Ridge Forrester on daytime TV's The Bold and the Beautiful. He plays a dynamic fashion magnate working in his family's company called Forrester Creations. Ronn has played the character of Ridge Forrester since the shows premiere in the spring of 1987. Ronn grew up in LA. At the age of 11 his love of Rock n' roll became apparent. He started learning the drums, guitar and then the electric bass.
Soon he was singing and playing bass guitar in bars and clubs across the city. Ronn lives in Hollywood, California and has two daughters. Once a year, Ronn takes his two daughters for a holiday in a cabin near Shaver Lake. Shaver Lake is 5,370 feet in the midst of California's Central Sierra Nevada. It's the same distance from Southern California as many Eastern Sierra vacation destinations, but far less crowded.
Shaver Lake is an artificial lake with a massive concrete dam but is beautiful nonetheless. In the visitor brochures distributed by the Chamber of Commerce, the lake is called "the best-kept secret in California's central Sierra," but enough fishermen crowd the rocky shores and sandy beaches to prove that somebody has talked! Trappers on the Point Restaurant is located at Lakeside at the Point Resort which sits on the edge of Shaver Lake.
This property features accommodation, tavern, and a restaurant. The restaurant has a lovely outdoor seating area with some of the best views of the lake around. They offer a range of starters, salads, burgers and sandwiches. The restaurant is open 3-9 pm Tuesday-Sunday and is closed on Monday. The Shaver Lake Stables are located a half mile past the Camp Edison Campground. Horse Riding is one of Ronn's favourite pastimes and you too can take a pleasant hour, two hour, half day or day horse ride here between Spring and Autumn.

Ronn will be in Australia from August 23rd to September 10th, touring the country with his "Sharp Dressed Man Tour". There has also been a special Tour Edition of his "Uncovered" album released for the Tour which includes a photo gallery, Tour Video, plus 4 x bonus tracks including the Player hit "Baby Come Back". "Sharp Dressed Man" is the first single from the album - it is a remake of the ZZ Top classic.
