Cape Tribulation Weather

Cape Tribulation generally has two main seasons: the 'wet' from December to April, and the 'dry' from May to November. The climate is tropical all year round with maximum temperatures of 32ºC (90ºF) in the summer and 25ºC (77ºF) degrees in the winter. The best advice is to pack light - during winter, on very rare evenings, you may need a jumper.

During the cooler, dry season the days are balmy and the evenings pleasantly cool (around 17ºC/63ºF). Summertime, or the green season, means warmer days and restorative rain. The rainforest revitalises itself and the streams are replenished. Sea temperatures range from 23ºC (73ºF) in July to 29ºC (84ºF) in February.
