A region located within Mount Kaputar National Park, approximately 52 kilometres from Narrabri .

Tthe access road to Mount Kaputar has approximately 20 kilometres of unsealed section.

Caravans are not permitted in the National Park. However there are two unpowered camping areas at the Bark Hut and Dawsons Springs. Fees apply and are payable on site via a self registration box system. In addition to the camping areas there is also three self-contained cabin available for hire at Dawsons Springs. Bookings are essential and can be made through the National Parks and Wildlife Services (NPWS) Narrabri Area Office.
