Blayney Wind Farm: the construction of the largest of its type in NSW. A Viewing Platform and Interpretive Centre are on the shores Carcoar Dam.
Historical Villages: The area boasts the historical villages of Millthorpe, Carcoar, Newbridge, Neville, Lyndhurst and Mandurama. Most of the townships were settled in the early 1800s and as a consequence historical shop fronts, workers cottage, bluestone churches and grand townhouses make a visit to these villages a trip back in history. Village cafes and gift shops are open to visitors at weekends and some days during the week.
