Boydtown on the western shore of Twofold Bay contains the historic buildings and tower erected last century by Ben Boyd during the whaling boom in the region. Discover Boyds Tower on the southern headland of Twofold Bay, a massive sandstone tower built by Benjamin Boyd in the hope of establishing his empire in the area, the tower was also used by whalers Boydtown and the Seahorse Inn, were built in 1843 on the shores of Twofold Bay. The historic inn has been restored and the ruins of Boyds church can still be seen.
