769 metres above sea level. Much of the land here was first owned by Sir Henry Parkes who called it the Village of Colridge. Arthur Rickard and Co. developed a large subdivision of the area and applied the aboriginal name Bullaburra which means "blue sky" or "fine weather". The railway station opened with this name in 1925.

Many craft, antique and tea rooms through the area.
