Pimba is a small settlement lying on the railway line at the junction of the Stuart Highway to Alice Springs and the road to Woomera and Roxby Downs.

Both the Ghan and the Indian Pacific trains pass through Pimba. Stop for refreshments at the seven-day Spud's Roadhouse.
