Things to See in Mildura

PS Melbourne
Mildura Wharf

The famous PS Melbourne, an original paddle-steamer, is the only one still driven by steam power - watch the operator stoke the original boiler with wood. For dinner or winery cruises try PV Rothbury also on the wharf.

Mildura Arts Centre & Rio Vista complex
199 Cureton Ave

The Arts Centre & complex combine an art gallery, a theatre and a museum at Rio Vista, a former home of William B Chaffey. This grand homestead has been beautifully preserved. The interior is set up as a series of displays depicting life in the 19th century, with period furnishings, costumes, photos, and an interesting collection of memorabilia.

Langtree Hall Museum
79 Walnut Ave

Dating from 1889, the Langtree Hall Museum was the region's first public hall and is an important link in Mildura's Heritage. A hodge-podge of memorabilia is on display here including an impressive collection of dolls, an assortment of toys, old christening gowns and musical instruments.
