One of the first people to fall in love with Seville was the poet-king Al-Mutamid, and the city's ability to dazzle has not abated since. It takes a stony heart not to be captivated by its exuberant atmosphere - stylish, confident, ancient, proud, yet also convivial, intimate and fun-loving.

Make no mistake, Seville gets hot during summer. Temperatures average around 36°C (97°F) in July and August with very little rain to cool you down. Winter has an opposite range, with plenty of rainfall between November and February and several days per month of below-zero temperatures. On average though, over 230 days per year have temperatures above 20°C (68°F).
