Atlanta Health and Safety

Atlanta has a big-city high-crime rate. Downtown is safe enough during the day, but at night the streets get eerily deserted. Atlanta is a car town; it is not pedestrian friendly, so someone walking alone at night can seem like a bit of an anomaly. Stick to the well-populated areas.
