Things to See in Napa Valley

Original gonzo writer Jack London spent his last years in the Valley of the Moon. His Beauty Ranch is now Jack London State Historic Park. The ruins of his dream home, Wolf House, are here, as well as the House of Happy Walls, built after his death by his widow Charmian. It's now the Jack London Museum.

If you see only one Napa winery, make it Frog's Leap, where meandering paths wind through magical gardens and fruit-bearing orchards surround an 1884 barn and farmstead. But more than anything, it's the vibe that's so wonderful here - casual and down to earth, with a major emphasis on fun.
