Napa Valley Weather

Napa Valley and Sonoma enjoy a decent Californian climate, but spring and autumn are definitely the best times to visit as summers tend to be hot and dusty (not to mention crowded). The September-November period combines fine weather with the grape harvest and the beginning of the wine-making season. There are slight differences in average high and low temperatures between the two valleys, with Sonoma being slightly cooler and getting a tad more rain.
