Word is spreading and people are flocking to catch an eyeful of the 'Free sex shows' at New York's Standard Hotel, turning it into the hottest spot in town.

The plush Standard hotel in New York has become a tourist attraction as randy guests are performing sex acts in front of the floor-to-ceiling hotel windows.

Guests at the hotel have been spotted romping, drying off and even pleasuring themselves in full view of onlookers.

Guests are also reported to have been seen making a porno.

A Parks Department worker told the New York Post that plenty of people come to the park specifically to watch the erotic exhibitionism.

Harlem resident Aaron Lipman, 34, a media research analyst who works near the park, said: "I think it's healthy and fun - it's flirtatious. It's like 'Wild Kingdom.'"

Naughty guests, naughty employees
According to the New York Post, the hotel guests aren't the only ones getting in on the raunchy action.

"We don't discourage it. In actual fact, we encourage it," a friendly bellhop was quoted as saying.

After the hotel opened late last year, the bellhop said, naked and semidressed staff members were encouraged to pose in front of the windows.

He said the point was to create a buzz with the unexpected peep show.

"One of the managers got naked and filmed it - they were considering a live feed for the website. She's an exhibitionist too," he concluded.

All fun and games?
But it seems that not everyone is a fan of the flesh.

The hotel's X-rated windows are drawing ire from families and local business people who are sick of the nightly sexcapades and porn shoots on display.

As The Post reported yesterday, City Council Speaker Christine Quinn called the alleged window action "unacceptable."

Hotel officials have issued a statement saying its managers will try harder to "remind guests of the transparency" of the windows.

"We will make a concerted effort to remind guests of the transparency of the guest windows," management said in a statement.

But it seems that voyeuristic New Yorkers want the show to go on.
