Hunter Valley 'Home Grown Gold' Wine Show 2009
Hunter Valley hosts the ultimate tasting experience for wine lovers.
This August, the Hunter Valley Wine Industry will host the inaugural 'Home Grown Gold' Wine Tasting. This fabulous event will give wine lovers the first chance to taste gold medal and trophy winning wines from the 2009 Clear Image Hunter Valley Wine Show, which will also be held in August.
Masterclasses will be conducted by the Chairman of Judges Iain Riggs and several award winning winemakers, giving visitors a personal and educational experience about Hunter Valley Wines.
The event, taking place on Saturday 29th August will be held at the picturesque Lindeman's Wines in the Hunter Valley, providing the perfect excuse to visit the region for the weekend and enjoy some of the best wine Australia has to offer.
Rowena Hawkins, General Manager of Business Development for the Hunter Valley Wine Industry Association says, "Home Grown Gold is the ultimate wine tasting experience. The wines showcased will please every wine lover's palate with the region's best Semillon, Chardonnay, Verdelho, Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon and Museum wines, as well as individual Vineyard wines available for tasting."
