The Jewel Of Tasmania is Unveiled
The name of this rejuvenating coastal sanctuary - "Saffire"
A new standard of luxury and accommodation is on its way, a world-class coastal sanctuary located at Coles Bay on the Freycinet Peninsula.
The inspiration for "Saffire" is drawn from fire and water and is uniquely associated with Freycinet Peninsula as this area has one of the only deposits of natural sapphires in Tasmania.
"In the tradition of world-class boutique retreats, Saffire will compare with the finest and most exotic five-star experiences found anywhere in the world," said Mr. Farrell.

Born of fire and water
On Tasmania's east coast, Earth's fire brought forth precious blue stones, which were found scattered amongst the pink-hued granite. The Freycinet sapphire. Inspired by the blue flame burning within these stones, and the glorious fiery peaks of the Hazards, Saffire has risen from its surroundings as a sanctuary that is truly in touch with the beauty and depth of nature. Saffire will be Tasmania's brightest jewel and will promise a unique connection to the natural world.
Where cerulean sky collides with azure ocean
Located at Freycinet, on Tasmania's serene east coast, Saffire is nestled in a secluded location with vistas across Great Oyster Bay, to the imposing Hazards ranges beyond. Nearby, Wineglass Bay has been internationally recognised as one of the world's top 10 beaches, while the spectacular Freycinet National Park is at Saffire's doorstep.
Tasmania's capital city, Hobart, is a mere one hour direct flight from Melbourne and less than two hours from Sydney.
