Situated in Tropical North Queensland, Cairns is a popular tourist destination located approximately 1,700km north of Brisbane close to tropical rainforests and the world famous Great Barrier Reef.

The sunny climate and extensive attractions makes the area in and around Cairns the ideal holiday destination with its sandy beaches, national parks, crater lakes, reef and abundant wildlife.

Further to the north where the rainforest meets the Coral Sea, Cape Tribulation is a beautiful spot, named by Captain Cook when the Endeavour hit a reef here. Tours include cruises that go by saltwater crocodiles, bush walks along the Bloomfield Track and fishing trips.
